INNER COMPASS ‘Road To Success’
‘I am building a fire, and every day I train, I add more fuel’.
Vision: To positively impact learner’s lives through training, mentoring & counselling and to help them attain their maximum potential & growth by aligning their inner passion to outward success.
I love helping young people find their passion & path in life. I want to be an inspiring & empowering force in people’s lives so they are excited & motivated to learn. My purpose will be to create visible, real change in the lives of all students, be it cognitive, social, or personal. I want to develop free-thinking & individualistic mindsets among students & teach them to be game changers in their chosen professions.
To achieve this, I strive to create a fun, collaborative & technologically enhanced learning environment where students learn from & inspire one another & environment that fosters growth & satisfaction.
Based on my personal research & experience in dealing with students over the past few years, I have identified 4 potential gaps that the Indian Youth is currently facing:
- Lack of purpose with little or no career awareness & guidance
- Lack of self-confidence & other soft skills that are required to be successful in 21st century
- Difficulties in speaking fluent English
- Lack of computer literacy or knowledge on creating & delivering effective presentations.
Keeping this into perspective, I have conceptualized below ‘4 Verticals’ for helping students bridge these gaps:
1) Career Guidance- to support students to make positive career choices utilizing their values, interests, aptitude & abilities & make them career ready & find their true passion in life.
2) Personality Development- to prepare students for both personal & professional life, by equipping them with the right social, communication skills & important soft skills & emotional skills such as compassion, resilience, mindfulness & work ethic, that they require to face 21st century challenges & to become confident, capable members of society.
3) Spoken English- to teach them to read, write, speak & listen effectively in English language & to help them overcome the fear of English speaking.
4) Microsoft Powerpoint Training- a short computer course to help students prepare & deliver effective presentations in class or at workplace.
I firmly believe that “We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future”.
What is Inner Compass:
That thing that fills your heart, keep doing that! Let your heart be your guide on all things.
We each possess a special tool to help us decide what is best for us — our Inner Compass. And we have to humbly learn to track its voice & align its wisdom with our outer choices.
When you are in alignment with your Inner Compass, you feel good & a sense of comfort, ease and flow in your life. And when you are not in alignment you feel a sense of discomfort or unease. In other words, you don’t feel so good.
Inner Compass is about being mindful & noticing honestly. It’s about present-moment awareness. It’s about right now. It’s about your inner calling. Listen to the compass of your heart. All you need lies within you.
Can you hear the voice within? Is it calling you? Inviting you to choose something different? To create pathways you have never journeyed along before? What if you listened to your inner knowing? Inquire within, follow your true inner voice.
